Created out of a child’s mind, inspire by art. The Chinese Bulldog is 20 plus years of Selective Breeding done by Linx. There is a list of our Dogs , their Offspring and a brief description of each below.
Born Dec 1999, Nubian, a red Redness, sandpaper coat Chinese Shar Pei , Staffy Bull cross would set in motion what would become known as the Chinese Bulldog. We crossed he into an Am Staff Terrier then back into a son Mr. Chin off that breeding. Creating awesome dogs, that still get the occasional " man I loved that dog you sold me " years later when I see a client that got one of those pups. The idea would be cemented in my head after noticing Mr. Chin looked identical to a dog I'd illustrated
This dog would become the templet for what I wanted in my Breed. Intelligence, Health, Loyalty and Temperament. Things took a turn for the worst when we lost him in the early 2000's. But we had the recipe and now a direction. He was the ultimate nanny dog type. Watching over my then infant son as I worked.
After trying to restart the breeding program with other dogs and having no success. Coco the cross. A Chihuahua , Pug cross bred to Pekingese Bulldog cross that we crossed into a Chinese Shar Pei (Bui) that produced our foundation breeding pair , Bear and Ms. Blu.
A registered AKC Chinese Shar Pei and Sire to Coco's litter ( Bear, Ms. Blu, Kalik)
Son of Coco and Bui, foundation stud to the Chinese Bulldog breed , Bellymate Brother and Sire to Ms. Blu's Litter's. !2 inches tall. 30lbs. Short back and neck. Brick Brownish Red color. Medium short Coat.
Daughter of Coco and Bui, foundation Bitch to the Chinese Bulldog Breed, Bellymate Sister to Bear and Dam to Phat Boy and Goombay. 40lbs. 13 inches tall. Loving and protective. Blue Mask fawn. Short coat.
Son of Bear x Ms. Blu . 40lbs , 13 inches tall, Sire to Appa, Solo, Junkanoo, Tux and Scrape. Red with a medium short coat. Brother to Goombay ( not bellymates)
Daughter of Bear x Ms. Blu, 12 inches tall, 35 lbs, Blonde short coat. Dam to Appa, Solo, Scrape, Obeah, Cherry and Muggy
Really this dog has everything we are looking to recreate in our blood. A twin to Grand Sire Bear and a testament to his blood. At 12" and 30lbs solid Red, he carries the stand of the breed and is the Dog in our Logo. He will be bred to Cherry. He was breed to Ice Cream to create his Out litter.

In the late 80's / early 90's, The American Pit Bull was that Dog for me. Then the law changed and those great pups we got for $50-$500 saw their darkest days. That's when the law changed and made my best friend illegal. The insurance company start dropping homes with Pit Bull dogs. So I made up my mind to hide my dogs. So I began looking at other breeds I'd loved and in my mind I imagined how to keep my dogs but change their look. I crossed pits to Akita's, Airedale's, etc. Then in 1999 a friend crossed a Shar Pei to a Staffy Bull. I feel in love. Still a fan of the Pit I took that pup into an Am Staffy Terrier. The Cross was golden. Life kept Life-ing and time past. At the time I had no intention of creating a breed more than just for me and friends. And so the Blood died off. At the same time the Am Bully was taking form, but they was just calling them Big Pits. So by the time things had settled the liability that came along with a Pit Bul was too much for my young family. As faith would have it we got a Shar Pei and a Mixed Dog. Coco the Mix had everything I needed and Bui the Shar Pei had great blood. Long story short, Coco went into heat and Bui took advantage. That produced 3 pus, of which 2 would become the foundation of out Chinese Bulldog Project. Since then we've added a Am Staff , Pit Bull, Neo cross. Seeing as how Coco had the Bulldog, Pug, Shih Tzu, Pekingese blood crossed in different ways in her. Now crossed to Shar Pei. Oh,Man , when that first litter dropped, it was a no brainer. Once all that happened we've just been breeding our dogs into each other to lock in the traits we came love and fix the ones that were not desired. Always being careful not to hurt the project. Like no more litter mate were bred together and our blood with an out is always crossed in. Always using the dogs with like phenotypes and the most genotype in comparison. While always breeding based on traits. Because; HEALTH, TEMPERAMENT, INTELLIGENCE & STRUCTURE ARE THE STANDARDS.
There is a lot to unpack about the By Linx Dogo. While already in the throws of the Chinese Bulldog program and looking forward. I saw myself breeding into a dead end. I’d produced some awesome to standard males and one female, with no Out. The Out’s are important because in an Out there are new genes and a doubling down on the stock we want to see in your work. That brings us to Cleo. Cleo was a Pit Bull off some good blood that belonged to the neighbor behind us. She'd gotten out and rehomed by a renter that moved to the block a couple houses down from us. At the same time this big Blue Pit x America Staff x Neapolitan cross got out and captured by the same renter. She breed them, but had gotten evicted before the puppies could be born. So she asking me to take the dogs. I’m like no, but the wife loved Cleo since she’d gotten out and came to play with us a few times before all this. Long story short both neighbors who’d lost their dogs got them back, but the owner for Cleo was like she’d been gone 6 months and told my wife to keep her. I wish I was there I would of asked for her papers. Us being dog people we couldn't say no to a dog in need. Anyway Cleo had a great litter of 8 pups we had no troub Rehoming. We did keep one pup , a female we named Nea. Then bred Cleo to our foundation stud Phat Boy which gave us Junkanoo. Do you see where this is going? Fast forward we do a dual sire breeding , Nea x Rocky / Junkanoo. Rocky was a English Bulldog x America Bulldog. Both Him and Nea were Blue and White Dogs. That Gave up Ugly. Next we bred Nea to Phat Boy and got Monday. Monday would get crossed to Junkanoo to produced Tire Shop, Sunday and Milo. Did you get that? The next step is to breed Sunday to Ugly and we’ll see where that takes us.
See, I won’t lie they were just suppose to be Outs to keep the Chinese Bulldog program going . Until Junkanoo started producing himself and Ugly was born. Times that by Monday being as smart as her Grandmother Cleo and as game and sporty as her Mother Nea. She could jump 4 feet by the time she was 3 months. Quick to learn anything we asked of her. Ugly sporty self really just made me take a more in-depth look at that blood asa family, with Junkanoo having done some good stuff by the time he was 6 months. Yeah sure I’m sticking to the original plan, but I can’t not notice what we produced along the way. So what is a By Linx Dogo? In short the Dog I didn't know I was producing. Healthy, Intelligent, Structured, Active and well Tempered. They Are Our Mascot Dogs.
Seal in color. Patterned in Pointed, Seal and White and Seal Tri. Weighing in at 20 to 45 lbs. From 12 to 16 inches tall. we won't lock in other traits for 2 more litters as far as standards go, but the family is off to a great start.
